(nice drool Sophia...)
After 8 LONG days without power we are finally getting back to normal life. Hurricane Ike surely left his mark on the Houston area. Joey and I like to refer to life without power as "camping gone bad!" We were able to get a generator which made life tolerable, but were so happy once the power returned!
Sophia did great during all of the Hurricane drama. She was so good, but got used to sleeping in bed with Mommy and Daddy. After a few nights, we were able to get her to sleep back in her crib. She went for her 4 month check up on Friday (now that she is almost 5 months...) and weighs 15 pounds and 3 ounces and is 25 inches long. She is in the 50% in both height and weight. The doctor told us that she is very advanced in her motor skills...my little genius :) We also found out that she had an ear infection. So we have been giving her lots of TLC to help make it better. She is so fun and everyday with her just gets better. She loves to play with toys and rubber spatulas. She also has discovered her feet which makes for a great time when she is in the car!
Enjoy some new pictures!
She knows she is cute.
