15 months old and as cute as can be!

Our little princess is now 15 months old! I cannot believe how big she is. It seems like just yesterday she was born. I wish I could slow time down but since I can't I have to enjoy every moment with my girl! I must admit that 15 months is my favorite age. Sophia has developed more independence and she is just fun to hang out with. It is nice having a little side kick to spend time with!

At 15 months here is what the girl is up to:
Weight:24 pounds (50th percentile)
Height: 30 3/4 inches (50th percentile)
Takes 2 naps a day at home and 1 nap at daycare
Loves all of her friends at school, especially the older kids
Loves to play with baby dolls and doll houses
She is part fish. Loves the pool and going all the way under the water (this is scary!)
Laughs all the time
Gives the BEST hugs and kisses
Talks ALL the time and repeats everything you say. We call her our "Parrot"
Vegetarian...by choice...she does not like meat or fruit
Left handed (we think...)

As a family we have been keeping busy. We just got back from Lake Charles for Jackie's 50th birthday. We had a blast floating along the lazy river with a great drink. Sophia loved being around all of her cousins. She thought she was as big as they were running through the halls of L'auberge du Lac Casino. It was a blast...just made us want to go back!

We are looking forward to a visit from my parents in September. Sophia will be so excited to see her Mimi and Papa. We are thrilled for the idea of babysitters so we can have a night out!

We had some family pictures done a few weeks ago. They turned out great! To view them you can go to http://www.sarahkealing.smugmug.com/ We can't wait to have Sarah come back out in the fall for more shots!

We are doing our best to keep cool in Houston. This summer has been so hot with record breaking with the heat! Thank goodness for pools! Enjoy the pictures of our Wild Child!!

Happy 50th Birthday Nona!
